| Aww what a sweetie he is. I'm still reading through his diary, looks like he's doing better and better. I'm trying to be as gentle as I can with Marley, but it's hard because she's a crazy puppy. I don't wanna take all her fun away from her, but if she does have it I don't want to take any chances. I'm going to look into finding out sooner, because I don't want to worry for months if it's nothing, and if it is something then I want to know so we can do what we need to.

Can I make a suggestion to you?? If you don't have one go to a second hand store and see about buying a baby playpen so when she wants to run around she is in a soft spot just in case she falls she will not injure herself. Yes please get her tested sooner. The meds they use to put them out for this are not as strong as the meds they give them for surgery so it will not last as long. Please keep me updated. I am really worried and I tend to be a worry wart when it comes to AAI/AAS pups. I will keep checking back to see how things are going. Like I said please if you have any questions ask. I am also with another group that has many AAI/AAS pups on it if you are interested I can send you the group name. I am a monitor on that group and can send you an invite. Just let me know. Give Marley a belly rub(gently lol) and Babybear says to please send some yorkie kisses to her.

| I believe my 4 year-old yorkie may have collpased trachea. I took her to the vet and he hinted that this might be the proplem however he treated her for kennel couh with a round of antiobiotics (clavimox). Anyone with any information on collapsed trachea or how to more precisely diagnose this sad condion please let me know! I hate for my baby to be sick. |

| I have an exercise pen that I keep her in when I'm not there, and I took apart her crate because I kept it in there and she loved to climb on top, so now it's just a bed. I'm going to call my vet today and try and figure something out for Marley. I'd love an invite to that group as well. Yorkiesmiles: Thanks, as soon as I saw the name I knew it was perfect for her! AUBLUE: Marley had to go in for x-rays to check for collapsed trachea. Like your Yorkie she was on clavamox, but it wasn't stopping the cough so that's when she had the x-rays done. They don't see any problems with her trachea, but as she still has an occasional cough, there's the option to do an additional x-ray where she swallows something and they x-ray her trachea as it goes down. I'm sure your vet will have plenty of information for you. Thanks again everyone!

| Marley is such a cutie! I'm glad you are getting lots of good information and hope you will keep us posted. I agree with you that looking into sooner would be a good idea. I know I would be worrying constantly until I knew more!!! Good luck!

| I've never heard of this condition, but I'm sure you are worried sick... I just went through a scary injury with Pippa, and I was so scared I thought I would vomit. Pippa and I send healing thoughts to you....
