| Update on Riley I took Riley to the neurologist today. She feels she has ideopathic vestibular disease, right side, most likely peripheral. Basically, she has some sort of inner middle ear thing that has no know cause which is making her dizzy and fall over. It is a problem that usually takes care of itself within a week's time. She may have some residual head tilt which may go away within about six months. If not, the head tilt will be permanent. I have to call the neurologist back on Tuesday and give her an update. If she is not showing signs of getting better then I have to take her back for an MRI of her head and possibly a spinal tap. Thank you all for your support and prayers for Riley. If I could figure out how to put a picture on this site of Riley I would do so, but I can't seem to make the picture the right size (pixels) for it to be accepted when I try to download it. Thank you all again and I will keep you posted. DianeB |
