| PetLink Microchip Has anyone heard of the PetLink microchip? Yesterday, Murphy was microchipped during his neutering. When I picked him up I was given PetLink information. In June, when I took him for his first puppy shots they gave me information about Home Again microchipping. I just assumed that would be the chip he would receive. My concerns are: I did not receive a tag. Just 2 extra bar code stickers. Also, I could not register last night. I was able to register this morning. I had to call about a problem I had while registering (my mistake) and I asked about why I could not register last night. I was told the registration site was down last night. I will address my concerns with my vet when I take Murphy to get his stitches removed, but I'm wondering how well known this chip is. Thanks!

| Hi, from what I could figure out from the website Petlink is the directory to register your pet. They can read the standard chip used by many companies. If you continue to have trouble with the registration you might want to talk to someone at the vet's office. My 3 were chipped a year ago and we were given info for 24pet watch and we registered with them. They also used the standard chip. We were given a tag for each one with their chip id# on the tag.
