80 capsules for around 14 dollars....even though I only have one with LP...I keep all of mine on Glucosemine.

If you get it through the vet...it'll cost more....over time it can get expensive.

Also the human grade glucosamine is the best. I buy the kind in capsules that I just open and sprinkle in their food each day.

My vet cautioned, not against the Human grade, but to make sure it is the proper measurement according to weight.

Is there a particular brand of glucosemine to get? I looked up the Cosequin but the website doesn't list the ingrediants.

Vet prescribed Cosequin for cats.....80 capsules in a box. Cosequin being the brand name.

Cosequin is good if your looking for something to get from your vet. You want a supplement that has glucosamine and chondrotine in it. I heard shark cartalidge if the best source for this. For dogs with a higher grade of LP the Whole Dog Journal and the holistic store i go to recommend Dog Gone Pain. Does anyone know the amount of each supplement they are suppose to get?
