| Teary Eyes... My Sasha has the most watery eyes I have ever seen (is this common in Yorkies) and because of that I spend alot of time fighting with her so that she doesn't get her hair all hard around her eyes...does anyone else have this problem...i tried to moisten with vaseline/water even a toothbrush but it never works because she darts from me the second I touch her face |

| I dont know what to do I dont want her walking around with crusties looking like I dont love her...my girlfriend told m to use a toothbrush but Sashe would naw the bristles off before she lets me touch her,...when I first took her to the vet the lady told me to damp it and use a fine tooth flea comb, but that looked painful |

| with regard to watery eyes of your yorkie if you use a small amount of bicarbonate of soda in water and wipe the eye lids with a cotton bud from the inside to the outside and do this on a regaular basis you should find the problem will go away. |

| Max does too, not terribly, but I just wet a washcloth with plain warm water, and clean that area every morning. He's not crazy about it, but I think he's getting used to it.

| I soften Joey's with a wet warm cottonball and then finish with a fine tooth flea comb. Works really well.

| My vet told me that giving them distilled water helps with runny or tearing eyes. I've been giving it to Jake for awhile now, and his eyes rarely tear anymore. I have to keep it in the fridge for him....he likes it very cold. |

| You could try feeding your dog Canidae dog food. It really helps with the watery eyes. I dont know why it works but it does
