| Tia has long hair and it's beautiful but it's hot and like others who have posted Tia loves to run and play and comes home matted or with crap in her hair. I would love to get her a short cut for the summer but hubby is giving me hell for even thinking about it. Personally, I think it's selfish to keep her long in this heat. She's be much more comfortable in a shorter cut, especially with us since we take her to our two sons' baseball games. Yesterday, even under the shade she panted. It's got to be hot having all that hair. I think I'm just going to have her trimmed short and hubby will have to be mad at me. Elaine |

| puppy cut I haven't posted in so long! It's been a fun year with Lexy... I usually keep Lexy in a short puppy cut. I cut her myself. I look at pictures of yorkies when they were puppies and just follow them to keep her looking young. Surprisingly, she's never had long hair during her very short one year life! |

| My son-in-law recommended a groomer so rather than call them for an appt., I went in person so I could check it all out. The shop is very clean, and the dogs aren't kept in cages. The woman who runs it loves dogs, you can tell. She said she especially loves yorkies. I took Jake with me so he could sniff around. He wasn't impressed, but I was. I talked to the woman at length about the kind of cut I want, and she said she knows exactly what I'm talking about. I think this is a good way to make an appt. at a place you've never been to before. Her first opening is Wednesday, so I take Jake in at 10:00a.m. Last edited by SJK1113; 06-08-2007 at 06:41 PM. |

| I am new to this site and I am looking for a cut for my little "Precious" and wondered if I could print your pictures out? I am really scared to get her cut she was a year old in April and had never had one. She weighs only 3.5 pounds (very small) first time I have ever owned a puppy this small I am use to the cocker spaniel, still have her too!! If you could let me know as soon as possible, she is getting cut next monday, I would sure appreciate it!! |

Sure you can print out my pups pictures. You should be able to do it right from the picture posted but if you need me to send you one by email I can. I do not mind sharing at all - after all I did the same thing once I found one I liked and took it in with me - that is the best way not to have any mess ups. By the way...I hope I am not too late for this post. I just saw it! Sorry!!

| Here's Lily. I just got her groomed for the first time last Thurs. She's 8 mo. and 3 lbs. 14 oz. I left her topknot long, but had them cut her face/beard shorter. What made the most difference for me was how they shaved down the corner/in between her eyes. It opened her face right up and we could see her so much better!.

| What a bunch of beautiful babies.... My lil one is just about finished with her shots and will be able to visit the groomer soon....all these pics have been great in giving me ideas, and I do plan on being there with her the first time she goes to the beauty parlor I just trimmed her beard this past weekend as it was getting wet each time she took a drink of water and I also trimmed her ears...of course I'm no groomer so she is a bit crooked, but still adorable
