Good summer cut? I took my girl to the country this weekend and she was in the river and running through the fields having a grand ol' time. But when I got her home she was matted and had burrs all stuck in her long fur! It took forever to brush it out and she hated it. Does anyone have an idea for a good summer cut where she still looks like a yorkie but with shorter hair maybe? She's a puppy and her coat is just now growing out, so I don't want to really do the "puppy cut" just yet. |
Good question! I myself and looking for a good summer cut as well. Izzy is about 5 months old and I am letting her grow, BUT yesterday it was 96 here and she was so hot. She wasn't even acting right. So now I think I want to do a summer cut of some sort but I have no idea what to do. Anyone have suggestions and can post some pictures maybe? :D |
http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...eferrerid=4890 Check Buddy out. I love this cut. It's his first time with it and the groomer did an awsome job. Left alittle skirt around the body. Somewhat like a modified Schnauzer cut. |

2 Attachment(s) Here is Gracie's new summer cut. Her skirt is about an inch or two long. I had her face clipped short in a Teddy Bear cut, but kept her top knot! Brushing is a breeze now! |

I wish I had seen these pictures before Spicy's appointment. I told the groomer I wanted to keep the top knot and so they left the hair on top of his head, but not his bangs! Would they think I was insane if I asked to stay next time and "supervise" the cutting part? ;) I saved Gracie's picture so I could print it for next time. Hope thats ok? |
