| Looking for a good finishing spray/detangler I have been looking at a couple different sprays to use between baths. I mainly need a nice detangling spray that I can use for his daily bushings that doesn't leave an icky build up or sticky feeling. Is the buddy wash spray good for this? Or the plush puppy? So many choices! What do use?

| I've used best shot from Petedge and loved it. then I ordered some glow coat, and I think I liked the Best Shot better. |

| I would say that it depends on what kind of coat your furbaby has. I can't use much on Bobbi because it's thin and very silky so he ends up looking greasy. My poodle (imagine her poofy coat), does great on CC ice on ice and seabreeze oil. The ice on ice I dilute 1:15.........it's non-oil based and leaves her coat tangle free and with lustre

I have read on here that seabreeze oil works miracles on cottony coats. Someone has 2 beautiful girls with differenct coats and it works much better for her cottony coated girl. I don't have another yorkie to compare to other than my poodle. I would definitely recommend the ice on ice. You have control as to what strength to dilute it to. I do 1:15 but you could titrate it to meet your needs. It's expensive stuff but lasts such a long time. Especially if you plan to dilute it. Get an empty mist bottle from Sally's and mix away Do you have pics of your furball?

| I use one part cowboy magic detangler to 8 parts water in a mister bottle. It works great. Just be sure to shake it well before use.

| And I vote for Johnson'N'Johnson detangling spray (for people). Makes combing thru tangles easier (Pepper has silky soft coat and mats a little too) and to finish - I wipe a little Cowboy Magic detangler on coat to make the hair go down and stay down and give it more shine. Works like a dream

I do use different products on my girls...You didn't say what type of coat your yorkie has - do you think it's silky or cottony ? It makes a difference in how products work...I used Johnsons No More Tangles when they were puppies but now I use Sea Breeze on Chanel (cottony) and alternate with Ice on Ice and Crown Royal Finishing Spray (thanks to Kathryn_V who sent me a sample bottle) on Cheri (Silky) it's really nice....leaves a shine and no buildup | |

| I just used something I picked up at Sally's Beauty and it worked great. I have tried most of the dog detanglers and Cowboy Magic. The Cowboy Magic is kind of messy to use on the tangles, but does soak right in and does not leave them messy. This new stuff is called Silken Child Leave-In Detangler. It was 3.99 for an 8 oz bottle. It sprays on and did make it much easier on the tummy and elbows to comb out. |
