| Furbutter Ok, this was one of my last attempts at my cottony girl. I finally forked over the plastic and bought Furbutter and waited for it to arrive and even though I'm not supposed to use my arm (cause of surgery) I gave Tinka a bath. Her hair feels great, the knots/matts came out relatively easily (there weren't many of them) but her coat still does not have a hint of shine to it. Dull , dull, dull. Do cottonies NEVER get shiny? Is dullness their lot in life? My very last resort is on the the way - Sea Breeze oil. (I think I ordered it anyways... ) Is there anything else anyone can think of? She is on great, natural food, solid gold seameal and their yucca -- I just switched her after being on Missing link for 6 months with no change. thanks! |

| First of all, she is GORGEOUS!!! I really enjoy seeing her sweet face on here I don't have an answer to you.........but this is my experience with seabreeze oil. I diluted it in a spray bottle with water and used it lightly on Bobbi........it was like glass.......super shiny. The problem, day 2 and on he looked like I poured grease on him and just unkept.........but smelled goo. I tried cowboy magic same thing. I use the smallest possible but his coat is sooo thin and silky........I have gathered that I just need to leave it alone and hope it grows On my poodle...........it was a blessing! You know, her hair is as 'cottony and frizzy as they come'.........I used it on here and my gosh does it work! It leaves her hair soft, repels dirt and NO MATTS!!!! I know this stuff works..........maybe not on silky coats but definitely on dry and possibly soft and cottony coats. I think you will get the results you are looking for
