				   | I use my CHI ionic dryer on my dogs now. I'm looking into buying one just for them. If you use your dryer, hold it in one hand and use your other hand to fluff their hair, keeping your hand kind of between the dryer and their skin. If it gets too hot on your hand then it's too hot for them. My dryer has a cool button that I can use if it gets too hot. Just the fan runs on cool. If you have a puppy, run your dryer near her but not on her to get her used to the sound. I run it on low speed near around the face and neck.

				   | I towel dry her then I just use a regular human hairdryer on cool dry and low speed setting. I keep her in a towel on my lap while I dry her, It reassures her I think! The noise is too loud when I put it on high. In summer I just towel dry her so she doesn't overheat. |

				   | I use my hair dryer on Grayson on the cool setting with a low fan, he loves it and when I dry my hair he comes running and waits for a blast or two.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I use mine on the girls when it's cold - they love it....I got them used to it by blowing them a little when I do my own hair - now they lay on the floor and close their eyes - they think it's pretty fun just keep your hand in the air stream and make sure it's never too hot or you get too close to their bodies |

				   | I have always used a hairdryer on Tatum and did also with my toy poodle. I think starting that when they are just puppies helps them get used to it. Tatum has no problem with it at all but from what I hear, some just plain hate it. I find that if I don't dry her completely, she gets that wavy look to her. Her hair is so silky that it looks best straight. I just use the low speed and hold it with one hand and fluff her continuously with the other. I always comb her while wet and then brush (after spritzing with CC spray) after she's dry.

				   | I always use a blow drier on Bella. She loves it. I make sure to keep it moving and not too hot. It is a good way to get the inside of their ears dry too. Even when I dry my hair she has to be right there and get her share!

				   | Tatum likes to sit on my lap while I blow dry my hair too! I'm so glad she's not afraid of it and that she doesn't fight at bath time. Now if I could just get her to let me clip those toenails! She used to let me but now turns into a she-devil when I try. Oh well, if that's the least of our problems, we're doing good!

				   | That's a good idea... and I've heard it before.... but until I can get one of those, the vet tech does a great job with no fuss from Tatum! Go figure!!
