I have always used a hairdryer on Tatum and did also with my toy poodle. I think starting that when they are just puppies helps them get used to it. Tatum has no problem with it at all but from what I hear, some just plain hate it. I find that if I don't dry her completely, she gets that wavy look to her. Her hair is so silky that it looks best straight. I just use the low speed and hold it with one hand and fluff her continuously with the other. I always comb her while wet and then brush (after spritzing with CC spray) after she's dry.
