| Teddy's Coat is Thin I have a 10 month old male yorkie who's coat is very thin. His back legs look as if they've been shaved but they have never been. Will his coat get thicker as he gets older? Are there vitamins or anything that I can buy to make his coat look better or grow faster? He eats Nutro-natural choice which I thought was supposed to be a good food and should be getting good nutrition from this. Also, he has brown spots on the crook of his right leg and between his back legs. The one on his right leg is pretty dark but the ones between his legs aren't as dark. They don't bother him. Should I take him to the vet or does anyone know what these are? Thanks |

| I think you should take your baby to the vet... Without pictures it's really hard to say what that could be.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yorkie coats are different for each dog and may continue to change even up to 2 years and more. It really depends on the type of coat your yorkie has as to how fast it will grow, a soft coat will grow slower than a silky coat. As far as the brown spots - do they look like freckles? or are they raised? Without seeing it is hard to say what they might be. Have your vet take a look next visit.
