Yorkie coats are different for each dog and may continue to change even up to 2 years and more. It really depends on the type of coat your yorkie has as to how fast it will grow, a soft coat will grow slower than a silky coat. As far as the brown spots - do they look like freckles? or are they raised? Without seeing it is hard to say what they might be. Have your vet take a look next visit.
