| Leaving in conditioner isn't a good idea-especially depending on the product-if he already has itchy skin. Over supplementing can cause problems too more than it can solving them. I'd just be sure to use a soap free shampoo that isn't laden w/ perfume and dies. That'll be a huge start in helping him out. Also try not to use a waxy conditioner that is thick and heavy. That is only making it seem like it's helping when it's quite the opposite. You should find a light, creamy conditioner that you can use on your kid that is also not laden w/ perfumes and dyes. I don't use it on most of my show dogs, but Tropiclean has been a great shampoo for me! Just an idea. |

| i just started romeo on wellness super5 supplement. it's supposed to help them with their skin and coat. it gives them what is missing in processed dog food. you just sprinkle a little on their food. romeo likes the taste and he's really picky. i'm not sure of the results, because we just started it. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | hey there...you said you're leaving a little conditioner in ? I tried that with Chanel and it just made her coat look dryer. I know some people do leave in a tiny bit of conditioner ...but it made Chanel itchy. A couple of things I did with her before I bought the Sea Breeze I use now... is spray a light coat of Johnsons Baby No More Tangles on her - it left her coat really soft. Sea Breeze Oil by Plush Puppy is WATER Based so it won't dry the coat... and is an anti breakage light oil. I love it on my girls - makes their coats look lots better and takes that dry look away. |

When Chanel was a puppy - I used Puppy Tearless on her for a long time - when I started using good products - I saw a huge difference. I've been really reading/researching who uses what for bathing & what helps keep a coat moisturized and shiny ....and a popular shampoo with breeders seems to be Pantene. I think the Original Pantene w/Conditioner - and the Smooth & Sleek are good - I haven't tried them - but that's something that's sold in ALL stores | |
