| ![]() I'm curious too about the vets reason for not bathing him yet. I never used Johnsons but have heard it was okay. Then, when I was at the dog show recently, I got to speak with a couple of breeders, and one of the questions I asked was "what shampoos/conditioners?". They had different products that they liked, but both said, not to use Johnsons and Johnsons. Since I never had, I didn't bother asking why. Don't know if this helps.

| ![]() I am not sure why the vet said that but i cannot take it any more i am deying to bathe him. I am going to do it this saturday and i will not use the johnson and johnson to bathe him dont want to even give him a bad reaction on his first bath. Thanks for your responses |

| ![]() I give Jax a bath once a week, but in between bathings I wipe his face with a warm damp washcloth - just to freshen up a bit and get the sleep out of the hair around the eyes. |

| ![]() Tucker and Tripp get a bath once a week also. They both start itching and smelling. Their hair gets all oily also. Not all breeds hair is that way, so don't feel like a bad mommy!!!
