Deuce looks great! You did a great job! This year was my 1st attempt at a shorter summer cut, and I am so glad I did it, uneven as it is. Last time at the beach, it took forever to get all the sandspurs off him every day. This time, 5 the 1st day and only one yesterday! The pound of sand after playing in the ocean, a different story! I caught lots of flak from dh about the short cut, but he has now said it was a good idea and I can cut him whenever we go to the beach as long as I leave him long the rest of the time

Yep that's my plan. Cut it down for the summer and let it grow in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. It grows back!!!

Its so funny how EVERYONE'S dh seems to prefer their yorkies be left long!! haha!! My fiance does too! Deuce looks awesome! Such a cute cut and his coat is still gorgeous.

My hubby prefers the pups long, but I always shave them down for summer and let them grow out during the colder months. I like that you can change their look as you please!

Deuce looks beautiful in long or short style. Summer short they really are more comfortable & easier to take care of. He has such a cute face, any cut would look great on him.

I cut the braid. It looks good and is easier to gather up to the topknot. Of course I'll let it grow again but for now it works. Blended the edges with the blending shears. They are magic!!!!

Here's his short morphed cut. Memorial Day. I've even cut his head by the ears a bit more now. I'm liking it except for the topknot. Going back to a braid!!!
