| ![]() My adopted boy of 3 months was shaved , his face hair was short. I am letting his crew hair cut grow out to see what his true color looks like, (his shoulders to mid. of back is black, then silver grey to his tail) when the hair on his face was cut, it was cut short, now 3 months later his face looks like "wild thing" I had some barrettes from my girls (forgotten when I donated everything to a no kill shelter, before I adopted Cody I saw them on a shelf, got so upset that they did not go to shelter where needy dogs could have used them. Good for me they slipped by me) so I open the bin that had the barrettes (was a longgggg time since I even looked at them, the lil girl I had just put down never used them) looked to see what I can use to keep his hair out of his eyes (face hair is so long I can't see his eyes) and found a package of what I guess you are calling bendy pinch flex barrettes. so I brush up his hair and clip the tiny barrette on, lol, all hell broke loose, Cody rolled all over, around the floor like captured wild thing, pawing at his head lol, the barrette ended up at the top of his hair lope sided lol, so off it came. I guess the prev owner didn't do a top knot or anything with that hair, think I'll try those color bands, they are tighter then barrettes. Until I get to the craft store poor thing will have his hair in his eyes.

| ![]() Acmoore has the loom bands for $1 for a few days this week and then they go up to 4/$5, regularly $2. I think they're packs of 300. |

| ![]() Too bad we don't have an ACMoore around us, this is a good deal. I live in the middle of nowhere. If I can't get it online, I don't buy it.

| ![]() My granddaughter has this kit and I can tell you that the bands are quite a bit larger than a regular grooming band and not as thick. I know that toplinepet.com now sells the latex free grooming bands along with others. ![]() The bands in the kit mentioned here are OK but it does take quite a few more turns around the topknot to get them on. The smaller bands only require two or three turns at the most. |
