| The HAIR! Velcro! What do you do?? I have a question for all of you who have full coats on your Yorkies and also dress them. Do you have a problem fastening the velcro - the hair getting in the way, getting caught while trying to fasten, etc? I do. If you don't, how are you accomplishing this? I love Mandie's hair growing like it is but it is so hard for me to put her velcro clothes on...that hair just gets all in the way. lol

Velcro can be a pain with long Yorkie coats. Putting a lightweight tshirt on underneath jackets helps. Side and top closures are easier. We don't have problems with dresses. Teddy won't wear them for me. Basically I do what Rhonda does. Tuck the hair up while I use my other hand to close the velcro.

| Ugghh....yes, I have a problem with velcro and have accidentally got the boys hair caught up in it a few times. I am not sure why companies even use it for dog clothes!! I've started being conscious of buying it. Both of my boys coats are Velcro and a lot of my boys pj's and sweatshirts have a little velcro opening for the neck...a perfect place to get the long beards all tangled up I have actually thought about removing the velcro off their clothing and putting on snaps instead. It's not hard to do, even for someone like myself, who doesn't sew. I know that zippers are also bad and hair can tangle around buttons too...so I am not sure what the best solution is.
