| Need advice for growing top knot. Hi Everyone, I am trying to grow out Princess Sophie's hair. I have had it shaped while it is growing but the hair on her head seems very thin. My question is...what do I use and how do I keep her hair out of her eyes without using rubber bands because even though I am very careful and cut the bands out, she messes with the bows and gets knots resulting in some hair coming out. I just don't know what to do. Please help!

| When Mandie's was growing out, I had this same issue. You can by the little baby clippie barrettes, but you will need to keep putting it in. OR, if the hair is long enough, you can loop the hair around the clip and then fasten it. A good thing to try is top knot gel on the little hairs to make them stay up. Might even try vaseline - I am having to use vaseline still right now because I cut Mandie's bangs several months ago because I liked her having bangs lol. Growing them out into her topknot know so I put a little vaseline and comb them up into her topknot. I don't use rubber bands. You can get the little mini scrunii's love them! I use them all the time (even with my bows).

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I used little butterfly clips on Galen. Easy on and off especially when they are a wiggle worm

| To encourage growth and thickness, I like Vellus Satin Creme: Vellus Satin Cream (for Hair and Skin) - 4oz/118ml jar

| Thanks Kristin, I checked out the link and might give that product a try. Thanks Terri, I have seen the little mini scrunchie's but am not sure what you mean by "baby clippie barrettes". Can you post a picture so I can see what you mean? I will probably try the vaseline before I buy anything else for now. Thanks Teri, I think I understand what you mean about the "butterfly clips" but Sophie doesn't even have enough hair on her head to hold one of these in. LOL I really appreciate all of you offering advice. I am ready to try anything and everything.

| I have some of those little butterfly thingies, too...if Princess Sophie or Galen wants them. I'll be home in about an hour and post pics of both. And, I mean as a gift, of course. All they are doing is sitting in my drawer...someone ought to get some use out of them lol

| I didn't know about these things until I was on here lol I got my big pack of the mini scrunchies from BowBiz, also. All I use on Mandie now. Okay, I put a credit card by these so you could get a grasp of their size. To me, it is still hard to tell, but trust me..they are little/mini lol clips.JPG

| They didn't stay in her hair very well because she kept knocking them out. Here's the only pic I have - see how happy she is? The ole stink eye lol Mandie Stink Eye.JPG As the hair grew longer (not thicker, cuz it's still thin there), I was able to wrap the hair once around the prong and then clip it shut. As you see...I have many left because I couldn't get them to work for her/me (between having to get them in and her rubbing them out lol)
