| Please help I had a bad experience with a mobile groomer. Now Toby is all uneven, and feels dry and matted. I bought him some oatmeal and aloe vera shampoo and a furgo deshedding tool. What else can I use or do for him. |

| I am sorry. I also wanted to know if I should brush him while he is wet or dry. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Never use a deshedding tool on a yorkie. Yorkies do not have a double coat and do not shed like one. The tool is only going to ruin the coat and damage his skin. Never brush a dry coat or a wet coat. You want to mist a dry coat with a leave in conditioner and then brush with a pin brush. After you fully brush out the coat run a metal comb all over making sure you get all the way down to the skin. if the puppy is matted after seeing a groomer I would definitely call them and complain, as well as request my money back so I could take him to another groomer to sort out his coat.
