| Help me find a shampoo and condition for my yorkie My little izzy has the straight hair and every thing I use will not make it fluffy, i hate buying a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner not knowing if it will do what I want, does anyone know what shampoo and conditioner I can get that will give her that fluffy look. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Well Yorkies once past puppyhood are not supposed to look fluffy at all. But sleek, silkey with a beautiful sheen to the well cared for coat/dog. If your dog has the coveted pure silk coat you won't get Fluffy anytime soon. Take a look at the Showing Forum here and you will see lots of pics of show Yorkies with the trademark silk - blue and tan coat. Older Yorkies with a "fluffy" coat usually have either a cottony coat, or a mixed coat.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I agree with Gemy, sounds like Izzy has the standard Yorkie coat, straight and silky. Do you have a picture of what you are trying to achieve? Sometimes adjectives like "fluffy" can mean different things to different people when describing the look of a dog. If you want more volume in her coat, I would try Chris Christensen's Day to Day or #1 All Systems shampoo and conditioner. Both can be purchased online.
