I asked my long time vet who most of their clients take their dogs to for grooming and made an appointment there. I made an appointment for over THREE from the time I called. It was the first one they had. My vet's receptionist of 24 years said they do amazing work. Now to decide exactly what I want them to do.

When people pay you for a service you have to listen to them! It is not like the groomer is just doing you a favor! I can see why you are upset!

Cali had a full coat when I got her a 9 months because she was being shown. I was so afraid to do anything myself or take her to a groomer because I didn't know what instructions to give. Really naive!

I totally lucked out. I found a woman who owns a kennel and shows her Yorkies. She has taught me so much and has introduced me to other Yorkie folks. She actually talks to me about what I want each time I go.

So finding a good breeder/show person who grooms might be a good place to start.

I've seen this happen to so many people even though they write down instructions for the groomers. What in the world is wrong with these groomers?

I'm really sorry this happened and don't blame you a bit for being upset.
