When people pay you for a service you have to listen to them! It is not like the groomer is just doing you a favor! I can see why you are upset!

Cali had a full coat when I got her a 9 months because she was being shown. I was so afraid to do anything myself or take her to a groomer because I didn't know what instructions to give. Really naive!

I totally lucked out. I found a woman who owns a kennel and shows her Yorkies. She has taught me so much and has introduced me to other Yorkie folks. She actually talks to me about what I want each time I go.

So finding a good breeder/show person who grooms might be a good place to start.
