My furkids Donating Member | topical omega spray anyone here every try this? My poor little Bentley's skin is so dry he looks like he has dandruff...Gave them all baths and clips Sunday and used a soft brush on Bentley....I used pet silk on the girls and an all natural oatmeal aloe shampoo (for dry skin) and an aloe conditioner....I thought this would help him....it didn't I called my vet and they said I could put the omega fatty acid in his food or there is a topical spray I can use....I think I am going to try the spray first...Would like some input on this please Thank you

| I think topical spray would only work temporarily and wear off. I would go with adding it into the food. My Golden rescue, Buddy, takes fish oil daily and his coat is so much better than when I got him.

| My Lola has dry itchy skin and i use coconut oil in her food. Our vet prescribed Dermal Soothe anti itch spray and her itching is not as bad as it was. Good luck with Bentley

My furkids Donating Member | thank you everybody...my concern with adding oil to his food is the chance of him getting pancreatitis...my vet has ordered a spray for me...I THOUGHT she said omega topical...maybe she was talking about adding omega oil to his food...I will let you know what it is when I get it...I pray this works! it's not cheap! but, if it works it's worth it!
