topical omega spray anyone here every try this? My poor little Bentley's skin is so dry he looks like he has dandruff...Gave them all baths and clips Sunday and used a soft brush on Bentley....I used pet silk on the girls and an all natural oatmeal aloe shampoo (for dry skin) and an aloe conditioner....I thought this would help him....it didn't I called my vet and they said I could put the omega fatty acid in his food or there is a topical spray I can use....I think I am going to try the spray first...Would like some input on this please Thank you |
anybody?? |
I will answer you Brenda, just so you wont think everyone has left!!! I am not familiar with this spray product....will be checking back here to see if there is anyone besides us here! |
sorry have never had to use it but i hope it works... |
I used omega oil in their food for a while but my Prada got sick, so I stoped and switch to coconut oil, I don't know if any topical spray.. hugs, |
I think topical spray would only work temporarily and wear off. I would go with adding it into the food. My Golden rescue, Buddy, takes fish oil daily and his coat is so much better than when I got him. |
My Lola has dry itchy skin and i use coconut oil in her food. Our vet prescribed Dermal Soothe anti itch spray and her itching is not as bad as it was. Good luck with Bentley |

thank you everybody...my concern with adding oil to his food is the chance of him getting pancreatitis...my vet has ordered a spray for me...I THOUGHT she said omega topical...maybe she was talking about adding omega oil to his food...I will let you know what it is when I get it...I pray this works! it's not cheap! but, if it works it's worth it! |
