My goodness, you should see Maggies toes. They were so furry, I let them grow like that cause they were just so cute, but it made it hard when it came time to trim her nails, so I finally cut it. It doesn't look the greatest, but it'll be easier to trim her nails now. I've promised her I would get better at it and it won't stay like that for long, she's forgiven me, lol. If I mess Jazzies up, it's gonna be a lot more noticeable and I'm gonan be so mad at myself! Anyone got any videos of how to do this properly?

| Oh my I don't think I should do this on Rosie. I better leave that in the hands of my groomer!

| YT 2000 Club Member | Lol, I'm thinkin the same thing for Jazzie, but I would be interested in seeing a video of it being done to see if it's actually something I COULD do. I just prefer to do all my furkids grooming myself. Think I may go see if I can find anything on You Tube.

| I think it depends on your dog's coat and what kind of issues you are having. Some fur is more sturdy than others. I used to have an issue with Gracie's ends getting tangled about 3 days after her bath. I started using a spray conditioner that is intended for after bath or between baths. It's has worked great. I just use it on her ends though and she does have a long coat. Sometimes when I take Gracie's top knot out her hair is kind of messy so I give it a light spray of water and it helps me to comb it out without a problem. I never brush her until after I have combed through her entire coat to make sure all the tangles are gone. Brushing can cause breakage when the coat is snarled. |
