| puppy grooming I am having a hard time grooming my baby. She is almost 4 mos. old. Every time I try to brush her she wants to chew the brush. No matter how careful I am she always wants to chew brush, comb etc. I would especially like to comb her face. How long before she will stop doing this? Also does anyone use anything to get the eye boogers out of her fur? |

| We put little combs and tiny cat slicker brushes next to all the chairs and everytime we sat down we would "comb" Ziva- especially when she was tired. It took a while and some patience but she got used to it and now sits very nicely. Great that you are starting so young, try to massage their feet so they will get used to you handling them. I use a little fine tooth comb after her bath when the eye yucks are softened to gently lift them out.It helps to wipe their faces down every morning with a warm washcloth. |

| Just be patient and always say ''NO!'' when he's chewing and have treats by your side so when he's good you give him a little peace of a treat.
