We put little combs and tiny cat slicker brushes next to all the chairs and everytime we sat down we would "comb" Ziva- especially when she was tired. It took a while and some patience but she got used to it and now sits very nicely.
Great that you are starting so young, try to massage their feet so they will get used to you handling them.
I use a little fine tooth comb after her bath when the eye yucks are softened to gently lift them out.It helps to wipe their faces down every morning with a warm washcloth.
