| Teddy's hair is down to the floor and Barney's is a close second. They roll around in the dirt and run in the yard. It's a lot of work to keep them clean and get the mats out. You and Jackson are so active, I think short might be better.

| My guy has a cotton coat and I want to grow him out just once to see how he looks. I started using the Pek conditioner and his hair is so silky soft that I decided to do it. Not the best time I know with the summer heat. We are well on our way and then my company decided that I have to travel for a project for the next 5 weeks. My son will be dogsitting. He loves him but I know that he will not be brushing him as often as I do. Now I have to decide what to do. He needs a trim that's for sure. Do I get him in a puppy cut and then start again after my travels or get him trimmed enough that my son can hopefuly keep him from getting matted? |

| I had always kept Pebbles in a shorter cut but decided about 6 months ago to let it grow out. It's still wavy but as it is getting longer it's beginning to straighten out. I noticed the other day on FB that Jackson's hair was getting long and I thought he looked adorable. But~the longer hair does take a lot more maintenance. With all the activity that you and Jackson like the shorter cut is probably the way to go. Just a side thought....you could let his head hair grow out and have the best of both.

| Jackson is adorable in his longer hair, and it would probably be nice for added warmth in winter. However, I do love his clean, crisp shorter look and it is much better suited for warm weather activities. I took my boys to the park after a big rain yesterday. Although we stuck to the pavement most of the time, they were wet and muddy by the end of the hour. I spent an hour and a half cleaning them up when we got home.
