| Bath-time when you have 2 or more.. I just turned up the heat in the house.... getting it warm as usual... for bath time!!!! I usually bathe one dog at a time and completely finish drying and grooming them completely before starting the next one. Does everyone do this or am I making it more of a chore than it should be? I was wondering if bathing all of them in the tub at the same time, comb each one out, and then blow drying each of them would be more efficient use of my time or if it would be even MORE time consuming...... Just curious how everyone else with multiple Yorkies does "bath-time"... Thanks!

| I give them baths one at a time like you but my limit per day is 3. The 4th gets held over to the next day. |

| I have two different routines. I make a bubble bath and put all three in the tub at once and deal with them one by one. Then once the first is completely rinsed and done, I take him/her out and dry them off and then they can stay in the bathroom to air dry a bit. Then I do #2 and #3. By that time, #1 is ready for blow drying, ears and teeth. Then #1 goes into bed to relax while I do yorkie #2. And then finally #3. The other routine is to do one in the kitchen sink. Same routine. They are allowed to air dry a bit then blow dry, ears, and teeth. I go with option #1 when its winter since it is colder down in my kitchen and drafty and hot upstairs. It was MUCH easier when I only had two

| We wash individually in the kitchen sink, Max first because he likes to zoom a long time before he lets me dry him. During the winter, I take the boys to my bedroom to zoom and dry because it is much warmer. I save final grooming/combing until they are both dry. Every bath day, I wonder how people with more than 2 do it. Two is my limit.

| I wash my boys in the kitchen sink, I'll do the whole wash and blow dry routine with one and then do the other.

| I also do my Gio first in the kitchen sink, completely finish him and then do my little girl next. My husband helps me, so it makes it easier. They get groomed once a month and that is a nice treat so I can skip that week's bath! I also don't know how anyone does more than 2.

| I take both in the bathroom- bathe one, put their robe on and let them walk around the bathroom as I bathe the next, then their robe gets put on. Then I comb each, then blowdry each. It goes pretty quick this way. I keep the door shut to the bathroom the entire time so that no one gets a chill.

| I bathe all five the same day. One at a time gets a bath and blow dry. I usually like to do this on Fridays. Since Azrael is cut super short on her body, and only about an inch long on her legs, she's fast and easy to bathe. Same for my foster, Belle. She doesn't have much body hair left due to Cushings disease, so it's really quick to bathe and blow dry her. Zada's coat is in a puppy cut, so she's easy too. Razael is in full floor length coat, so I take more time on her. I bathe her first before my back starts aching.

| Lily is small enough that I put her in the kitchen sink. She's bathed and blow-dried in less than 30 minutes. Max is bigger so I usually take him in the shower with me. I bathe him first, towel dry and let him rub around on the bath rug until I'm done in the shower.

| I bath 4 of ours and my son baths the others. In the summer I bath one, dry them with towel, then let them run around until I do the others. In the winter I bath, dry, groom each one at a time. Sometimes I do it on different days. Today I gave Pixie and Chip a bath. Tanner gave Gus and Heidi a bath. Maybe will do the others tomorrow.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have 2 silky coated ones and 2 cottony coated ones all in full coats. So I wash one silky one and then a cottony one. Then I quickly dry and groom the silky one while the cottony coated one air dries a little, then dry and groom her. Then I wash the other 2 and dry and groom the silky one first. All in all it takes about 4 hours. Most of the time is spent on Cali and Roxie with the cottony coats.

I may have to try it with all 3 in the tub sometime.... I think it might be fun... not necessarily less work! LOL..... but I will do it when hubby is home in case it gets too wild!

| I have two boys and I generally wash them together. I do exactly what you do (in winter) with heating up the house first and using an extra space heater in the bathroom. I keep them both in the bathroom until they are no longer soaking wet and then let them do their run around the house ritual before doing any grooming. This always seems to work well for us. They both hate getting bathed, but tolerate it.

| Oh wow I guess I'm lazy then. I take mine to the groomer weekly for bath and brush out, trim nails when needed and sanitary area.

| my 3 pups have silky type hair so it is quick and I do them one at a time and last I do my Maltese Casey. He has a thin coat for a Maltese and I keep him short now so it's not bad. I do my sister Yorkie Madison every 3 weeks she has a really thick cotton coat and takes hours to brush out and dry and go through the mats. My sister combs her out every day to but she mats under her legs and on her feet it's like wet wool. I'd love to find something to make it easier to do her hair. She looks huge when she's done like a puff ball and she's only 7 lbs and looks skinny wet. |
