| "ashleys first trip to the grromers" seeking advice well.... ive been a bad dad, never had a lil furbutt youkiepoo before her, and she should have been named "mattyy" shes a mess, one huge matt... first are the grromers at petco good? after all "ashleys" the baby of the family we plan to have her shaved short and stay on top of her brushings and get her a hoodie for winter potty trips. whats the best shampoo and conditioner for her coat to hopefully cut down on matts? she'll let me brush her so ill do it EVERYNIGHT i promise.... any tips will be appriciated will post her pics when shes back going there this comming thursday hoping for the best, should i stay and watch or trust them and just pick her up hate to drive off |

| Is her hair curly? I would brush morning and night if that where the case. If you want her to wear clothes, keep her coat short. Clothes can actually help make matts.

| thanks im sorry i should have added, shes a cotton coat far as cloths shell have a hoodie only will have to be cut short as i have tried all the tricks and shes matted too bad so ill be a better dad and keep up or prevent her matts |

| I ask because she's a mix and might have true curls like a poodle compared to a yorkie who is soft coated. Maybe that's why you're having a harder time keeping the matts at bay. For comparison, I have a soft coated yorkie and really I don't have a problem with it matting up. His hair has some kinks to it but it doesn't curl. It's about an inch long right now on his body. And yes, I do dress him up all the time. I can add pics of his hair if you want to compare.
