| Human hair gel I did a search for this but didn't come up with anything. The groomer cut the hair between Macy's eyes by mistake and I am trying to get it to grow out. Meanwhile it's at the stage where it is poking her eyeballs and sticking in her line of vision. I tried a dab of my hair gel on a q tip to keep the hair between her eyes in place and from sticking in her eyes. It works, but I'm not sure if I should be using a human product so close to her eyes. Anyone have any suggestions.

| Pet Silk and All Systems make the gel. It sounds like it would work, but it's catch 22. You have reapply so often, might as well use Vaseline. |

| Never thought about Vaseline, I would feel better using that instead of my hair get that has alcohol in it. Now I have to find my jar of Vaseline in the bottom of my bathroom cabinet. Thanks.

| You need to check out this post. It's a way to make hair gel using just whole flax seed and water. I've made it a bunch of times and it actually works pretty well. My dog actually loves the taste of it and always tries to lick it off my fingers when I am putting it on. |

| I'm sure health food stores might have it, but I think your local grocery store might have it too. I got some at Kroger. It was in the Organic section there. I think Publix has theirs in the baking area...kind of near the flour, bran...that sort of stuff. |

| Thanks - I will have my husband check out Publix. I have quite a bit of the gel I had bought, but want to try the flaxseed.
