| Yorkie Hair Help! My one year old yorkie, Bear, looks like a puppy. His hair won't grow out as I would like it to, and he still has a bunch of grey hair on his head. In any offense, he doesn't even look like a yorkie! Will he ever grow out the grey fur on his head? Will it soon become ginger? How long will it take for his fur on his face to grow out?

| Just wanted to say that yes your little guy does look like a yorkie, and a very cute one at that. Love him in his little blue hoodie.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | from what i can see in the pictures in your album bear looks just like mine in regards to the coat. Its soft and poofy, doesn't lay flat, and on the head has grey, tan, and black hairs intermingled, right? Mine is 4 and still looks like that. LOL She has a cotton coat that will never turn silky and mats up when it gets to a certain length. I keep her cut short to avoid this problem. unfortunately bear will never have the silky drop coat look but that doesn't make him any less of a yorkie.
