| ![]() ok well i guess i have a cotton coat yorkie, um i tend to keep his coat short especially because he is a male and looks really cute when he is all groomed i do it to distiguish him from the female so they look like they have two different personalities. I dont think i will straightn his hair because i am afraid i will burn him and he is more of my pet then a show dog. just someone more to love. Good thing you guys are here for the help or else i would definitely be going in circles. Thank you! |

| ![]() It was funny to hear how many of you have Yorkies with curly butts here. Tiki has one too, and I didn't know it was so common. Her hair is more smooth and silky when I use Minksheen shampoo (the mink oil helps a lot), and also Pet Silk conditioner helps it lay down nicely. Do any of you use a finishing spray? It also helps smooth out my Morkies which with their Maltese half are somewhat cottony.
