I know what you mean, with your 3 jugs of shampoo :) I've got numerous other bottles too. Fortunately though most of my other shampoos can be used on our poodle w/ short cut and our Papillon.....but I do use the conditioner on them...it makes them so soft and silky feeling.

You will love the PEK. Reno had puppy mats and the PEK saved us both from hours of combing out those frustrating puppy mats. A bath for him before the PEK could take an hour, combing out mats first, with the PEK it took just a few minutes. Now that he is in long coat, I can't imagine using anything else on him! Honestly, it doesn't take much of the product...you'll see, it's super concentrated.

Patti 03-16-2010 05:42 AM

I would love to try the PEK conditioner but can't afford 75.00 right now if there is anyone who is ordering and needs to add the amount of the PEK conditioner to get to the 75.oo minimum I would be happy to buy it from them and pay shipping. Thanks

I think I am going to order ;)

I took your advise and emailed the rep for Iv San Bernard, discussed products and rec'd my order today. Bath Zhoie and her coat is absolutely GORGEOUS!

She is has a dark modified coat and not shiny. I took have tried every products ever mentioned, but never got the result I wanted. But this is definately it. Her coat is laying flat (not a bush) and so silky/shiny.

I ordered Iv San Bernard White Musk Shampoo & Conditioner. After bathing you use Atami H270 on damp coat. FABULOUS result...it's just what I have been searching for.

Kerry also sent samples of PEK, a detangling spray and another sample shampoo. I also want to try their Mink Oil Spray, Gloss Spray and a few others!! At least, I know I will be filling my cabinet with something wonderful. LOL:D

HI - my two have the same issues you are describing, so I may order what you got, but I need to know if Sodium Laureth Sulfate is an ingredient in any of those products you got? Thanks :D

WHAT.........YOU HAVE A PAPILLON????? I adopted Spicy Jan. 24th. I'd never had one before and am learning. How often do you bathe yours? I haven't bathed Spicy yet and she still smells wonderful. ( I do wash her face and brush her every morning). I also put her on extra oils because she shed so bad, but now her shedding is way down to a tiny minimum. She's also going in April 7th for cataract surgery. I want her to see again. She's been going thru a lot of tests lately to make sure everything is good.

Yes, we do - Scout is his name, he came as a foster kid and after dh fell in love, Scout became a family member. I saw your Spicy (adorable!) and voted for her, how did that go, btw? Good luck on the 7th w/ her surgery! Did her other tests come out okay?

Scout gets bathed once a week most usually, just like everyone else here. Now, if things are too crazy here, I'll let him skip a week unlike the yorkies. He sheds too, so I brush him daily with a slicker type brush - it helps keep the hair off of everything at least.

Maybe bathing too frequently can cause excess shedding. I also use a slicker on Spicy. She didn't win anything. There were others with over a thousand votes. Unreal!
Spicy's first blood draw showed a high liver enzyme count so she was put on meds. for a couple of weeks and re-tested. This time it was normal, but poor girl has to go back on the 2nd for another blood draw just to make sure she's still ok. Too much in my opinion.

Can you let us know how you like everything ? I'm really happy with the conditioner but on a tight budget..... :p so will be following this thread

I will post as soon as I try them. It is crazy what this dog has done to us. DH and I are obsessed with her. It worked out great because DH saw her scratching her head the last two times she was groomed and told me to look for better products to give to the groomer to use on her when she comes. Thanks again. I just love this site!

I'm excited for you and can't wait to see the pictures. On the ISB site used to be a link to some before/after pictures.....that is what sold me, when I saw the difference the products made on those dogs.

I'll bet your groomer loves the products and will want to use them for others!

LOL.....about your DH....it's funny how so many of us ladies get yorkies for ourselves and then our husbands end up being just as obsessed as we are. Even my DH has brought home little things for Ruby and Reno...it's so cute!

I don't mind at all Julie...just give me the word. Groomers may be the best place to check as I don't think too many retail stores will have it. LOL...you would think being an ocean closer it might be easier to find. I do want you to get some though for Alfie and Lottie....so don't give up....one way or the other!

Thank you about Reno. Ruby's hair is as pretty as it's ever going to be....LOL...that girl was not blessed with good hair genes (like me!) But it is in good condition and I use the conditioner on her just watered down.

Just wanted to add my two cents here! Bonny was kind enough to send me a sample and I used it on my cottony coated girl yesterday and I really love it! Her hair does feel so silky now! I'm definitely sold on it! I still have to try it on my silky coated pups but either way I'm planning on getting it for Libby. Now I just have to figure out exactly which products I want to order. And thanks again Bonny!

Bonny is a sweetie for sure!!

So glad you liked it and got good results. Isn't amazing how silky and soft their coats are using it?! When you use it on your silkier coated dogs, water it down a little...I actually rub a small amount into the palms of my hands w/a little water.

YAY ~ just placed my order...

I was emailing w/Linda and then she wound up calling me. She is very nice and we talked about a number of products.

To start, I just ordered the PEK Conditioner and the H270 2 Phase Equalizer to try on TJ and Roxy. I am currently ONLY using Minksheen, and I would like to see how the PEK and the H270 work with the Minksheen.

I am not a fan of SLS and I honestly try to avoid it in MY products and well as the dogs, so I need a little time to "mull" it over, and maybe in a few months, I may order the Green Apple Shampoo/Conditioner....

I also ordered the Diamond Soap Bar for Cuddles, she is my sisters Morkie, who has "terrible" red tear stains, and she chews her 1 foot, so she also has a red/purple foot (cute though...) Linda said this product should work well for those stains, so after my sisters uses it for a little while, I will share the results ;)

...all in all, I am very hopeful and I am excited that the products should arrive in time for the next bath (next weekend!) YAY

jadabug 03-19-2010 02:29 AM

My order came yesterday!!!! I cannot wait to try everything I got. I will have to say for the price these products are not really any more than other stuff I have used. The shampoo(1000ml) is a huge bottle and the directions call for mixing it 1 part shampoo to 3 parts water. I think that will probably make a gallon of shampoo.I will post pics after baths on Sat.

That's good to know :)

Bonnie - that was nice of you to do that

and my update is after 2 weeks since using the PEK -

Chanel is still easy to brush - normally I have to weed thru some tangles from her harness and her hair tends to feel 'dry' but the conditioner really helped her hair stay soft AND she still smells good :)

So glad you got to talk to Linda, she is very nice.

I have the Diamond soap bar and have used it now a couple of times on Louis, our poodle for tear stains. It is making them lighter but what I like about it most is, because it's a bar soap, I can use the corner of the bar to get in close to his eyes w/o actually getting it in his eyes. I think though to get rid of the stains completely, I'm going to have determine the cause of his staining.

WhoooHooo! I can't wait to hear of your results!

You're right about the prices being no more expensive than other products we've tried. Also, when you consider just how long they will last, they can even be cheaper than others.....with fantastic results!:)
