I'm another one that spent a looong time reading all the posts on this conditioner, LOL. I told myself I wouldn't buy another shampoo or conditioner as the last one I got (from YT) didn't turn out that well for me. BUT, if I could get a sample to try, and it works, then I will buy it. We have several that knot up something awful and I'm really tired of cutting the wads of fur off of them. I mean it knots up from the skin on out!!! Will this really help that? My main question is the smell of these products. I have a problem with things that have perfume in them -- makes me sneeze, itch, and can't breathe right. I would really like to try a sample first if at all possible.

Has anyone tried the Crystal Clean Shampoo and/or Silver Clean Lotion for their partis. I've been looking for something to keep her white bright and clean. We have clay soil and it seems to be dulling her coat just a bit.

I use the Crystal Clean shampoo and the bar soap on Louis, a silver poodle and Razz my parti boy. I do like both, makes their coats very pretty, shiny and does hep with the stains from dirt and tears. I like the bar soap bc I can get up near their eyes, but not in their eyes. The corner of the bar soap is handy for those areas. I've tried a few whitening type shampoos and do like the results with the Crystal Clean better than any other I've tried. I've not tried the silver clean lotion....but I should!:)

I've used the green apple shampoo on a 16 week old puppy but none that were younger. You might want to call the toll free number and ask Linda, she would know better than I would. The PEk does work great for the puppy mats that can get so frustrating when you're trying to grow out coat.

We have a couple young ones, that the fur comes out in little tufts! Those are hard to get to come out sometimes too.

I have a question for those that use it continously. Does the cottony coats get more and more silkier looking with repeated use? And what other products are a must have? Is there a spray comditioner you love too? I'm sure it's in the thread some where but this thread is huge now so if someone doesn't mind helping me and saving me some time out I'd appreciate it!

You're welcome, I'm so glad you like it. I don't have anyone with a true cotton coat, only modified coat. I know if I don't use the PEK on Reno, his coat looks dry and dull, with the PEK he has a shiny, silky gorgeous coat. Make certain to leave the PEK on for five minutes or more, and comb it through so it's coating every strand of hair if possible....then rinse. It really is like deep conditioning your own hair - the product has to stay in the hair for awhile to be most effective.

The other product I use and love now is the SIL plus. I mix a few drops in with my palm full of PEK. Also, I do have the H270 2 phase equalizer but haven't used it enough to know if you would like that or not. If you order from ISB ask about samples of the equalizer but I would definitely order the SIl Plus.

Jen, Thank you so much!!! I have to share a couple pictures I took today...day 5 after Bijou's first bath with PEK. I wanted you to see how great her coat looks first thing in the morning, without being brushed yet. I'm surprised by how shiny she is! Usually the flash on a camera makes her look all shiny in pictures, but in person she's just glowing and she still smells so yummy. I'm sold!!!

This stuff is worth it's weight in gold to me! I normally spend so much time on Bijou's hair trying to keep her knots under control. I feel so bad when I have to work one of them out on her. Every now and then her little eyes would water, so I knew it hurt and that just breaks my heart to know I hurt her. I'd always work very slowly on them, and am careful to hold the knot so I'm not pulling her skin, but on some it would still hurt her. So I got to the point were I'd just cut so I didn't hurt her. And then I decided to trim her more and more. But now with this fabulous line of products I won't have to worry about that again and I can leave her coat grow longer again :D I can't thank you enough!!!! To anyone still considering if this product is right for your baby...I offer you my opinion on it: It's a miracle in a bottle!!!!

I meant to add this picture too. I think it shows her longer hair better. She just loves playing fetch and tug of war. Which always gave her knots before.

I just saw this post !! Went reading it from way back in Mar - Oct !!! lot's of reading Lol !!!
I have every thing out their so far , even the one fr the Vet Y/S Med Formulated Chlohexidine Gluconate 4% Shampoo , now this I only leave on for a few mins . Than I also use A1/S Shampoo w/ Oatmeal and A1/C med formulated skin and coat conditioner , Their coat r soft and shines for 1-2 days tops , she has to have something for dogs, hypo-allergenic . She has Soft hair, he has cotton hair. I keep their med cut, I'm thinking of going to puppy cut, but I love the longer med cut.
I did go to the site you have post and I try to sign up , but they 're asking for a company name , I dont have a company I just want to buy a good dog shampoo for my little furbabies LOl !!!!.
I try to get on for a sample , which I'm willing to pay for ( not free) so I can try and see if it works for them.
How do u sign up on their web site without beign a company.?

I just put my name in the company section as they normally sell to companies, but they extended it to YT and I bet they are glad they did will all the sales :p It may take a day or so for you to get your e-mail to confirm that you've been approved for the site. I got an email right a way asking if I was a wholesale company, I answered it that I was a YT member. Then next morning I was approved for the site. It wasn't instant, but was faster than I thought it'd be.

Awww....I love the pictures, Bijou is adorable and her coat looks so shiny and healthy! I am thrilled you love the PEK so much and even more so happy for Bijou♥

It's not often a product can make such a difference and I am happy to share what I have learned that truly works.

Jen - thank you SO much for the sample :):):)! I used it on Marcel on Sunday morning - oh my gosh, I just love the smell - so fresh...I can't say what it smells like, exactly, but I love it!

When I run my hand down the top of Marcel's back (from front to back), he is as soft as a baby's butt! Not kidding. He is very cottony, and tangles quickly...so I'm excited to see how the tangle prevention goes over the next few days. I'm loving it!

That's funny you mention the smell, I'm neutral on the scent, it's neither good nor bad for me. In fact the Maracuja PEK, I really don't care for the scent of it, but it works so well, I figure I can always use doggy cologne if I want a smell good scent.

Isn't that the best....how their hair feels, I keep saying Reno's coat slips through my fingers like liquid silk. lol....I can be quite obsessed with playing with his hair after a bath.

PEK Conditioner
 

I use the PEK both ways, as a hair conditioner and watered down in a spray bottle for daily brushing. With Reno's long coat it takes a good tablespoon of PEK rubbed between my palms then smoothed over his coat - then I comb it through so that it comes in contact with every hair strand possible. For a daily grooming spray, in a small spray bottle, I use about a 1/2 tsp PEK, fill with warm water and shake like crazy to get it mixed up.

Something I have been using besides the PEK is I use Mega growth, growth oil in my shampoo when I bathe my dogs. You can buy it at Walmart. I put the shampoo in my hand then mix in a teaspoon or so of oil and wash them, rinse and apply the pek, rinse and dry. My dogs hair right now looks amazing. The ones that had dry hair are now shiny and not dry looking.
