You know that's a good question, I just grabbed some of it and smother it on my girl. I didn't dilute

It did the job, I played with her for 5-7 min and then washed her.

I just use a little bit and slather it on. And I have mixed some of it with the conditioner and I just mix a little bit of each in my hand when I do that. It works well that way. Can't say for sure if I'm doing it right but it works for me!

Thank you both for your help! I was thinking that I would use it full-strength, it seems to me like it would work better that way. And I'll just use an amount that I think will work for him. It will be several days before he will have a bath, so maybe I'll get some more advice soon!

With a cottony coat I would use the PEK full strength. I take about a teaspoon of the product rub it between my palms then work it through the hair. With Reno (long coat), I comb it through his hair while he is standing in the sink, this usually takes 5-10 mins., then warm water rinse.

Or, you can mix some of the PEK with another hair conditioner. Also, I water down some PEK in a spray bottle to use for a daily grooming/detangling spray.

Thanks for the help and for sending me the sample, Jenn! My plan right now is to give both my kids a bath tomorrow(Raider will use the PEK and Lola will use Yorkie Splash and Shine). I have a pretty good idea of how much PEK to use now and will use it full strength. I'll let yall know tomorrow how it works for my cottony boy!

Well I ordered again. I wanted the gloss and mink oil (Pek works great for Bogie's mats but wanted to see if I could get more shine) WOW the mink oil makes him soooo shiny and it does not take but a drop!!! The gloss I haven't tried yet, when my pkg arrived the lid had come off and over 1/2 of it had leaked out. I called the toll free # and didn't get an answer. I left a message and haven't heard back yet. I am sure they will though. If I don't hear from them by Monday I will call back. Any one else had a problem with something like this? It was just a freak thing because they had the lid taped down like they do with all their products, it had just came loose.

I think they will probably replace it for you. They were soooo nice. Maybe they are closed for the Memorial Day weekend. Maybe?

They contacted me today, great customer service and they are taking care of it and I agree they are soooo nice

I've never had any product leak out during shipment although Bonny and I did talk about the sil plus and how it wasn't completely full when we got our bottles. But, I'm guessing that is just how they are filled bc both of our bottles were the same and nothing had leaked into the box or packaging.

I'm sure Linda will make it right for you though.

I wasn't worried about them taking care of it. They are really super and customer service is great. I figured they were probably out of the office at shows or something.

love the mink oil and gloss. I made the daily spray from their instruction sheet to use on both of mine, and for Bogie who has no shine, it only takes a pea size drop of the mink oil to make him super shiny and it is great on the mats too.

I don't know if its them I am spoiling or me, it just makes them so much easier to groom so I guess I am spoiling all of us

I bought:
purifying shampoo
purifying balsam
green apple shampoo
green apple conditioner
Pek conditioner
Sil Plus

First week I used the purifying on both dogs (cotton * modified).

Second week I used the apple shampoo & conditioner but I took a couple of squirts of the PEK and spread it on over the conditioner and massaged it in while we waited out the 5 minutes.

This past Thursday I bathed them in the apple shampoo & condition and then used the PEK full strength for 5 minutes and finally saw the results I wanted to see!

Linda said that after continued use you will see more improvements. It's about cleaning them up and getting them on regular use. I agree.

Ok, now does anyone have any tips for the static from a mircofiber couch? I think I might have to get the essentials spray now! lol!

Spoiling them, ya think? I've spent more money on yorkie hair products in 4 years than I have in my entire adult years. LOL....I finally broke down and bought some Nick Chavez hair flocker from QVC, haven't used it on my hair yet but am thinking about using it on Ruby's thin coat
