Is it soap free? I use K9 Advantix on Max and although it is waterproof, you are supposed to use soap free shampoo. I just bought the sample pack so I hope I can use it on him.

Yes, you can certainly use it with K9 Advantix. I have been doing some reasearch to make sure, but you can definately use it with any flea and tick products and the other products will remain effective (I use frontline).

I think the reason the vet told you "soap free" shampoo is because most soaps are harsh and strip the oils out of the skin, and when doing so also strip out the flea reprellant that is distributed theough the skin oils. Yorkie Splash does not have harsh chemicals and does not stip out the skin's natural oils. Technically it is soap, but it is very mild and pH balanced for the skin of Yorkies (well, dogs in general).

Still, I would wait at least 24 hours after application of a flea / tick repellant before bathing.

Thanks for the info.. I too wish there were samples.. I recognized the name as I was checking on the price of shipping and came back here as I knew this was a member...
I might have to get some of this..wonder if it will ever come in larger bottles.. I have 6 yorkies..some times ordering a larger amount makes it cheaper when you have so many furbutts..

I have only been selling it since May and I hadn't really thought too much about bigger bottles yet. I hope to maybe do a few bigger bottles when I make my next "batch". The place I order the bottles is pretty inexpensive, so, I guess I can try it.

I received Yorkie Splash & Shine today, and bathed my both of mine, and I must say that I absolutely love it!! I usually alternate between Petsilk & Minksheen which I also like. However the smell of the Splash and Shine is wonderful not so overwhelming like the others. I would definately recommend this product!

I received the sample last week and have used the shampoo and conditioner twice now.

I'm very impressed with the products. My Azuki's coat is very shiny and amazingly soft! and he smells very good as well.

Hi,

I am new and Hi to all of you. I have a yorkie pup that is 13 weeks old.
I just got my sample set and this weekend bathed my puppy "Gizzy" first off the smell is great. Second he is so soft.
My OH has a Maltese with a cotton coat.. what a pain this coat is as she mats really easy. I use the conditioner and detangler on her. Well the coat is sooooooooooooo soft and no more cotton coat is it laying down nicely.
and what else is good. I saw what it did for these two I used the detangler on my hair . What a shine and no fly aways. What great stuff. Will be buying again for sure.
