| How often do you bathe your yorkie? Toby isn't a show dog but I hate it when his cheeks get all stiff.. He as a gorgeous coat and it is statring to grow out. Thanks in advance!

| I try to bath mine every 2 weeks-depending on if it is cold or not as I keep the house a little on the cool side. By 3 weeks they definitely need a bath! lol. I usually use either baby wipes or a wet baby towel and wash their little faces and eye goobers every day. This seems to help with the facial hairs.

| I like to give Ella a bath once a week. Sometimes (not alot) she'll get more than 1 a week if she goes outside and gets dirty. =]

| All of mine get bathed every week. They are all in full coat. If I let them go two weeks I would never get it all combed out. |

| Since his coat is growing out beautifully, then you want to promote it and one of the secrets to growing a beautiful coat is to keep it clean. Show dogs are bathed every 4 days and kept in wraps. But, your Toby isn't a show dog so every 7 to 10 days. Never brush a dirty coat or a dry coat. Make sure you use a spray on leave-in conditioner before brushing. Another thing over working by over brushing a coat is just as bad as leaving in mats.

I am a little confused about this too, I bath Bailey once a week. I comb him when his fur is dry with a reg comb, I use a flea type comb on his face. When I want to brush him I lightly spray his fur with a conditioner spritz and then brush with a boar bristle brush, is this correct, or should I do something differently?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I bathe Roxy weekly. I use a warm wet paper towel to wash her face as needed. She doesn't seem to mind it at all. In fact she gets engrossed with licking the wet paper towel. Works out gr8!

| Hm, it really depends. If we go to the doggy park, it's weekly. Wintertime it's usually every 2 weeks.
