| That's the first set I bought, too, and it worked great but then I noticed that Sophie's coat was getting dry an not looking right and It was getting matted. So I looked at the thickening stuff and noticed that it said to only use every 2-4 weeks, I think. I figured that's what was causing her coat to mess up, so I ordered the day to day conditioner to use with the day to day shampoo and it has since done great with Sophie. You might want to try doing that if you like the CC stuff. |

I shampoo her with "Minksheen" & then, spritz her down liberally with "The Stuff" but, the key in keeping a cottony coat free of mats is to either keep it clipped short (3" all over body) or brush at least twice a day (especially before bed time). When Phoebe's coat is long...she looks like she's wearing a full length mink fur coat or as my son describes her as a mop without a handle or Roomba

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I think Bentley would be cute with a longer lamb cut. I have my boys with a 1 inch body all over and the legs longer. I think it is adorable. I got the idea from TeresaM....look at her Yogi's picture in her album. I think Bentley has a coat like his. |

Aww...thank you so much! I am really trying to work with his coat. I have went back to using the Minksheen (despite my DH's complaining) and bought some of the coconut oil. I put WAY too much on though and he was just a tad (ton) oily so he got a bath 2 days in a row. Although after I washed it off, his coat was soooo soft and shiny! Guess I gave him a deep conditioning treatment with all that coconut oil.
