I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() If you are on a budget, you might want to try the Maden brush, many show breeders use them and they are about half the price of the CC brush. Madden Brushes for Dogs

| ![]() I use the Madan Pin Brushes, it has 11 rows of 22mm pins. It's fantastic, good price & keeps Momo's cottony coat soft & tangle free & Mimi's fine silky coat shiny & lustrous. If you do a search on google (or whatever search engine you use) most people that use the Madan will ignore all their other pin brushes (like all systems, CC, ect). I'll be selling them soon to my fellow Yt'ers ($16 + shipping)...if anyone wants to purchase one! ![]()

| ![]() I'll be selling them in about 3-4 weeks time, maybe sooner (I need to order w/airmail, it takes 14 days). If you can't wait, PM Ladymom & she'll give you an email to another fellow YT'er who sells the Madan. When approved, I'll be posting it at the 'Yorkie products for sale' section. If you want me to PM you when it's available, let me know. Thanks. ![]()

| ![]() Just for my $.02... I always start with a comb first for any matting and tangles. I isolate any matts or tangles first with the comb and then use my CC brush. I am careful with the wires though - their skin is delicate. I sometimes use a softer brush on them too.

| ![]() We couldn't live without our Christ Christensen 20mm Pin Brush. I couldn't believe the difference between this brush and the crappy ones that I've owned in the past. We also use a Combo Madan comb, and occasionally I'll run over her with a Boar Bristle brush just to distribute her natural oils throughout her coat. P.S. I also end with the comb. Brush first.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I bought an expensive comb, that isn't that great. For the mustache, I found that a 4-dollar flea comb from Wal-Mart works great. I also have a small brush that looks like a hair styling brush, except it's only about 3 inches. I'm not sure if it was made for little girls, or dolls, but it works great, and the rounded plastic tips won't hurt him. I use this on the mustache before I use the flea comb.
