| ![]() I brought Suzi back to the groomer just for a whisker trim and her nails filed , not a big deal. I have been very happy with Ryan and there has not been problems, until tonight. As soon as Suzi saw Ryan she shook like a leaf, hummm? That was odd in itself because she normally loves people, and Ryan told me how good she was the last time she was there. I stood and watched him... No problems, until she got anxious and wiggly. SO Ryan asked for help from anther groomer. That was fine with me. She was suppose to hold Suzi close to her so she would calm down. Ryan walked away from the grooming table for something, however he did not realise the other groomer walked away too, leaving my baby all by herself ![]() He said he thought that the other groomer was with her, but she left too. NOW I see just how quickly A tragedy can occur. AND I am absolutely horrified that it was my Suzi that nearly was hurt. All I kept telling telling myself is that If was not there, and caught THERE mistake she would have been very hurt, or possibly strangled. I vow to never take her there again ![]() By the way it was A Petsmart ![]() I'll I can thing about is what if I Was not there? my baby would have become anther statistic of Petsmarts negligence . ![]()

| ![]() Oh my goodness I am so sorry this happened to you and your baby. ![]() I would definitely file a complaint with the store manager and possibly higher up. Granted it was an honest mistake, like you said, its the most basic grooming rule that you do not leave a dog unattended. Stories like these are so disappointing. She is very lucky you were there to be her guardian angel. |

| ![]() I keep telling myself to learn how, and keep trying with Suzi. What happened last night makes me even more determined to learning the grooming skills to take care of my baby propperly.

| ![]() Scary - glad you were there to make sure there was a happy ending. I was at a doggie expo last year (all things dog related put on by on by the local greyhound rescue). There were lots of vendors there and hundreds of people. One groomer had on the spot nail trims for $10. Through the crowd I saw he had a medium size dog on the table. He turned around to talk to someone who approached the booth and the dog was antsy and started to slip off the table with the noose on. The dog somehow got his footing and managed not to fall. All I could think was - if he turns around while here in this large arena advertising his services, what does he do in the privacy of a shop. |

| ![]() I live in a small town in Connecticut, where you think a small grooming place would give you that little extra. A groomer put a tiny Yorkie under the dryer and left the room. When she went back (she saids it was only 5 minutes, Liar) the yorkie was unconcious. The baby was rushed to the vets where it was pronounced dead. The poor little baby had burns over its entire body. That place was immediately closed down and the owner of the yorkie pressed charges. Luckily I had never used that groomer.

| ![]() He seems really fine with it. It's not red or anything. Don't think it bothers him at all. Can't believe they walked away from that baby on the table. Thank goodness she didn't get hurt. I don't want to keep hunting around for a good groomer and use my babies as guinea pigs. I'm so upset.
