| Some yorkies are just born with wavy hair. Depends on genetics and what not. I've seen this video on youtube of a guy straightening this yorkies hair... even though it was straight to begin with. I think he was trying to make it 'perfect'. I also think she was a show dog. Would I attempt to straighten a yorkies hair... probably not. Mine moves around a lot and I'd be afraid of burning her. For the pee on the legs. You can do a sanitary trim and then shave the legs on the inside, is that where pee is getting onto?

| My Pebbles also has wavey hair. It's so thin and very fly away. She was rolling around this morning and when she was done she looked like she stuck her paw in a light socket. It was cute but I think I'm going to have to give in and get her a puppy cut. I'm just trying to wait until the weather gets warmer to do it. She always looks a mess. I brush her one minute and then she shakes and looks the same mess again. She kills me!!

| Pepper is not just wavy, she is curly. she literally has curly-q's where her hair is long on her tail and on her feet. She hates to be dried so I know there is no way I will ever get a straightening iron to her. I just make sure to condition her well and leave just a little in, and let her air dry. funny thing is the hair on her shoulders is straight until you get to her mid back then it starts curling. her momma was the same way. I like her curly, good thing because that is what she is.
