				   | I had a family birthday party last night for my youngest son. My oldest son and DIL were here, and he saw my new pedi paw(?) gadget, unopened, in the closet. He uses a dremmel tool on his boston terrier and min schnauzer - and wanted to know why I'd never used it on my babies. Very simple - I'm chicken!!! He got it out, I held Lucy then Rebel, and used it on their nails. It worked great! They didn't like it, but held still and with a lot of praise - their nails are FINALLY short enough and SMOOTH! Their groomer trims nails - but theirs grow SO fast! Lucy's were really bad and they went to the groomer 3 weeks ago. I like this new gadget!

				   | I have one and you can tell they are not pleased about it but they put up with it. This is what I did to introduce it to my girl: I simply laid it on the floor unplugged and let her sniff it, and I left it there for a couple of hours then put it away until the next day. I put it on the floor again but turned it on the second day. When I groomed her I would have it just laying there next to her, at first not turned on then the next time turned on. She gradually got use to it. Even when I started actually trimming her nails with it, I would only use it for a minute then let her down for awhile. I increased the time that I used it on her. It took a week but was worth the time, because now she doesn't try to pull her paw away from me when I'm using it. |

				   | My Bella is very laid back with grooming EXCEPT when it came to the nails! You'd think she was a pit bull the way she'd pull those paws back. Well, I introduced the Pedipaws slowly... I put it by us on the chair off, then turned it on several times for 2 nights, not even touching her with it. Here comes the bribery. I put her on the counter on a towel and turned it on near her paws briefly causing utter panic and immediately turned it off and gave her a smidgen of a treat repeating several times. The next night I advanced to touching her feet with it then bribing for forgiveness and lots of love. Next night touched the nails to the sanding area for one second. Bribery, love. We worked up within a week to her really not minding it to now a 2 months later she actually enjoys it and I enjoy being able to really file and shape the tip. I could not believe it. She gets excited when she sees it. Mary |

				   | I have used one for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I just let him sniff it and here the sound of it for a while, then I ran it over my hand a couple of times. Once he wasn't afraid of it, he did ok with it. It was a unusual sensation for him, but I like it much better than the thought of his nails getting cut too short.

				   | We use the pedipaws on Max. He didn't like it at first but he gets treats after each paw and has no more problems with getting his nails trimmed.

				   | I was thinking about ordering one of these gadgets ...... what didn't you like about it browniesmom622? Did you find it awkward to use? So far I've been taking Rosie to the Vet to have her nails done as I do find sometimes the regular nail clippers tend to break/splinter their nails. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I love ours also. They are so good with it also. I actually can use it without any fuss. I give them all treats afterwards. It was easy to use and safe.
