| Tricksie has long hair. She only gets poop stuck when she has the D. I know when it happens, because I can't find her, she is embarrased. After I wash her, she is fine. Can't imagine what she would look like with long hair except on her hind legs.

| We use a soft material pony tail holder on Shelby when we remember to putit on her........ usually she has no problem, our groomer does a wonderful job when she trims her private areas.

| Don't laugh at my bum Normally I take pictures of Jazzie say.... sitting, she was a bit confused to see me taking photos of her rear . I just wanted to share what WORKS for ME & Jazzie, at a time when she had runny poop The band near her tail is put on after the tail. She is good about leaving the bands alone.

| Potty No Longer Gets Caught in Long Hair I was having the same problem.... I have a 5 year old female in full coat. When I brought her home 4 months ago... I would have the same potty problem. She would go potty and it would stick to her hair. What a mess! Not to mention she wasn't happy about it either. So I went to the store and bought small Scunci Hair Clips (for children's hair). I twist the hair on each side of her thighs and hold it with a hair clip. I don't twist the hair on her legs. Make sure not to clip the hair to tight. I don't need to clip the hair on her tail because it doesn't get in the way anymore but you can if you need to. Just make sure you DON'T clip the tail. Only clip the hair. I keep Lola's tail hair about 4-5 inches and no longer have a problem. Then you "must" shaved the hair around the potty area with an electric razor. Be very careful not to bit them with the clippers or they will never trust you again. I do this at least once a month during her bath time. I haven't had a problem since. I live in an apartment, so we have to take her out for potty time. So before we leave I put her hair clips in her hair and we remove them when we return. It is so much cleaner and she doesn't get any pee-pee on her long hair either. She doesn't have the smell of urine in her hair anymore either. It's so much very cleaner. These are the clips I use... 10-12 per package. I was able to find them at my grocery store in the hair product area. http://www.scunci.com/images/product...mages/28_l.jpg Here is the website for Scunci: scunci Products

| I tried lots of other product before I found this idea. It was the only thing that Lola felt happy in and it was temporary. Lola use to live in Hair Wraps 24-7 with her former owner. She had to travel from state to state going to dog shows. So when Lola decide to be a "Pet"... I decide to let her be a pet. Although, when I had a dog sitter come and visit with her, I will still put her in Ponytails instead if hair clips. This way her babysitter doesn't have to worry about it.
