| ![]() Heck yeah, you can use it anywhere you want to on him. Just take it slow and don't get the top layer or you'll end up with unattractive short pieces. Post a picture so I can see!

| ![]() I didn't find that I needed a bigger pair at all. The actual size of the scissors was ok, I didn't use them more than 15 minutes though. Do you mean with larger gaps between the teeth to take more hair out, or just overall bigger? The #30 worked great. Being inexperienced I was afraid of taking out too much hair so I opted for the 30. If you want to remove more hair you can go for the #40.

| ![]() Yes, they do have a round tip, I think any of them have a round tip. Getting in there under the arms and around the face, I would think that you would want the smaller ones. You'll do fine with those.

| ![]() Thank You for the suggestions Pookiebear ![]() I went to the pet and vet supply today and bought thinning shears, so I'm going to try and do Abby today. I just cant' bring myself to have her beautiful coat cut off, even though she gets mats and tangles. I also bought cowboy magic, so we'll see how that goes. I'll let you know ![]()

| ![]() Abby turned out pretty good if I do say so myself! If only that groomer hadn't shaved her nose, she'd look perfect! (the last time I had her professionally groomed, the groomer shaved her nose) Anyway, her coat lays so much better and her legs don't look so shaggy. I bathed her this morning and not nearly as many tangles to work out afterward! Thanks so much for the tip! I'm glad I read your post and trimmed underneath and not on the top!
