| ![]() I use the #008 All Fine Tail Comb for topknots/face for both my girls and as overall body comb for my Gia. She has a silky/cotton combo coat. I recently purchased their new Staggered Tooth Buttercomb #001 for my Mahli. She has a thick wooly coat that gets tangles really bad. I'm thrilled that this comb works for her very well! I also want to try the #010 All Coarse Tail Comb for Mahli's topknots and see if that'll work better for her than the #008. I don't know about you all, but I just don't get good enough results from brushes at all with my dogs. I've tried several and do have some CC brushes. Seems like the combs get the job done better IMO.

| ![]() I said it in the other post.. but I lost a CC comb in NYC..... so i have to buy a new one. I think it was 006. CC has great brushes and combs.. and it is hard to decide... So I hope more people can respond!! And I would love to see which ones everyone uses!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() I LOVE the 006! I almost bought one with a handle and I'm so glad I didn't because when I'm dematting, I can't tell you how many times I flip back and forth very quickly between the fine/coarse with the 006. The 006 has VERY fine spacing (24 per inch) on the fine side, so it really is great for cotton coats and helping pull out teensy mats once you've worked them down using the coarser end of the buttercomb. It really is like getting 2 combs for the price of one.

| ![]() Wow, thanks everyone! You have given me a lot to think about - even if I want to have more than of these combs. Mine both have silky coats, so I'm going to have to look at what would be best for them

Donating YT 30K Club Member | ![]() I have the 006 too and love it. I mainly use the fine side to get out matts. Pixie has a really silky coat and I use the coarse side on her as she doesn't need to be brushed as she has a thinner coat.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | ![]() I love CC combs and brushes and I have the #008/7" all fine tail comb and love, love it. It's great for Izzy's silky coat and for doing awesome top-knots. I use the end of the comb to poof it out. ![]() I love the handle - gives me better control of what I am doing. No it does not hurt my hand at all or get in the way. I also have a gold tip fushion brush (which I don't use that much - get better results with the comb) and I just got the new #001/6" staggered buttercomb but boy is that one heavy to use. I still go back to my #008.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | ![]() Oh and I have the #006 too for face/feet and it's awesome. You can't go wrong investing in a CC brush/comb..it will last you a lifetime. ![]()

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() No it's not painful at all, it can be awkward though. My yorkies are on the small side and my hand isn't very big either. So, I got the shorter length to fit both better. It just needs the handle on top for something to hold on to.
