Lee, I used the wrong word, I should have said sheath. The sheath is the part that covers the penis and it is the sheath that the hair grows on. Try letting the hair grow out and you might find that the coat does not get a icky.

I thought Sheath was what you was wanting to say but I didn't know everyone has their own ways to say it...LOL I hope it will help them...They do tend to get icky there. Hugs, Lee

I think this is something all of you do as well, but for newbies I just wanted to mention it. We also use a baby wipe a couple of times a day on him. Helps to keep it from getting icky.

We also leave a pee string on Gizmo and it helps him too even though he's in a puppy cut.
