I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Wow, she says that she's been a groom for 17 years and that's typical? Hmmm, oh well the other's are right, he is so cute, it doesn't matter, makes me wonder what Joey would look like if he got the "typical yorkie cut?"

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Yes, Joey started out black, started turning grey around 12 weeks, his head was silver at 14 months and sometime after that it turned tan, his saddle area is considered blue which is kind of a metallic black. The first couple years they change a lot.

| thank you all for all your help. I'm going to groom him myself even though im only 15. I'm going to get some nice shears and a mini whal pocket pro. If I can scrape enough money, maybe an actual clipper. |

Keep your eyes open....... Now that you have a Yorkie, you are more than likely to meet other Yorkie owners in your area. Ask them what groomer they use......... Maybe you will find a groomer that does what you want them to do.

| He's so cute! Max's second cut was a nightmare for me! I was so upset. They cut him bangs and then they grew out to his face and I couldn't see his eyes anymore. But the time goes quick, and his hair grew back really fast. The only thing his bangs won't go back anymore. They grow towards his face and cover his cute little eyes, so I have to keep cutting them or do a top knot.

| puppy Ther eis not the way to groom a 17 week old..but what is done, is done...let it grow and it will take a few months..AND avoid this groomer in the future. ALways write what you want done...leave top knot, no face clipping..etc..and tell them you will not pay of they screw up. There are so many groomer complaints, I am beginning to think most groomers are on a power trip...they will do as they please and to heck with the owner..saw some of that attitude on Groomer Has It... |

| Well I volunteer there and this woman bought it from Missouri and had it shipped to new jersey by plane. Then she found out she couldn't keep him and brought him to our shelter. Were no kill, so she drove an hour from wherever. My friend who groomed Benny(original name was Tyler) runs the shelter. She told me it was a rare sight to see a yorkie puppy at an animal shelter. |
