Donating YT Addict | Clippers or Scissoring? I'm in a pinch...Ozzy is going to get his first puppy cut saturday from his breeder. She is going to hand scissor because she doesn't have full size clippers. I'm so worried..I want him to have a proper puppy cut..about 1- 1 1/2" all around and his head needs to be cut short because we are not having a topnot. SO my question is can you get a clean puppy cut look with scissors? I'm going to eventually do his puppy cuts myself and I can get an Oster A5 from Petedge for $114 and get it by Thursday if I order today...I would bring it with me saturday and watch how it's done then do it myself next time..my husband thinks I'm in a panic and says not to worry..here is a picture of my little mop... what do you all think???? I'm so worried my Baby will look bad

| What a cutie! I don't think you can make a yorkie look bad no matter what the cut!! I scissor mine totallyl...no clippers and i can get them really short where i need to. My girls would freak with the buzzing noise anyway. I wouldn't think most groomers would not let you watch since you will be taking business away from them if you start doing it yourself...IMO. IDK..maybe your groomer doesn't care and will let you watch but the dogs usually do better if the owners aren't there. He is so handsome. I am sure he will look fine no matter what the cut. What a sweet little face!!! |
